The men's camp out was a great success. There was about 30 campers and no rain during the event. Rawlings Barnes provided the devotion on Friday night followed by testimonies. There was a chipping contest, tag football, capture the flag, hot dog and marshmallow roasting and a breakfast with sausage, bacon and eggs. Pictures can be found on the Event Pictures page.

On Sunday evening everyone enjoyed a time of music and testimonials by members of Shenandoah followed by a fellowship that included a mystery food that turned out to be pizza. The evening service consisted of the youth of SBC presenting "Alive, Alive!" Easter program and there was not an evening sermon. The Easter program was a blessing to all with singing, Bible reading and Bible verse recitations.

The morning sermon for 03/29/2009 has been added to the Sermons page. The morning sermon is titled "The Manner of Man" by Pastor Glenn Hill. There was not an evening sermon since we had Family and Friend Day.

Family and Friend Day at Shenandoah was a great success with the sanctuary nearly packed to capacity! Everyone enjoyed the great time of music by Black Creek of Benson, NC. The message preached by Pastor Glenn Hill was a blessing to many with several coming forward during the invitation. Everyone also had a great time of fellowship and food following the morning service. The softball games were canceled due to a very wet field but will be rescheduled sometime in the near future.
